Koppers Wood Products are looking for an experienced, capable and confident Office Manager All Rounder for our Manufacturing & Treatment Plant facility in Takura, Hervey Bay. About the role Reporting to the Business Manager, your diverse range of skills and experience will enable you to manage the day to day running of our busy office.
You'll provide a high level of administrative, financial and secretarial support to office and plant personnel, including: Accounts Payable, PO processing, assist with Payroll Vendor set-up, assisting sales order processing, stocktake & stock movement including journaling Reporting requirements & reconciliations for end of month Maintain supplier accounts, yard-sheet processes, freight equalisation & liaise with contractors Maintain employee & company records, quality management practices, manuals & registers in line with compliance Comply with all WHS requirements, activities & initiatives, monitor incidents, tasks & internal audits Assist BM with submission of monthly site data records ie, fuel consumption, waste generation etc Schedule meetings, medicals, staff training Assist with staff onboarding and inductions Reception, customer service and 'confident face of the office' What are we looking for 2yrs+ experience in a similar position (similar industry ideal) Quick learner, confident with your ability to take ownership of the position Financial acumen/purchasing & stock control Experience with Cost Centre Accounting & Accounts Management Understanding of Manufacturing Process Control, Review & Corrective Action Use of CRM/ERP/Safety/HRIS/Payroll systems ideal Strong work safety experience & awareness Confident communicator with all levels of staff & stakeholders, ability to build rapport quickly Experience or understanding of operating within a compliance-heavy industry Related qualifications well regarded What's on offer Opportunity to establish a long term career with a local, thriving subsidiary of a global company Supportive team environment in a rapidly growing organisation, with strong values Diverse and interesting position that you can make your own Who are we Since its establishment over 50 years ago, Koppers Australia has expanded its product & service range to become a leading diversified manufacturer of quality carbon materials, chemicals & treated wood products across Australasia & the Pacific.
