Koppers Wood Products are looking for an experienced, capable and confident Office Manager All Rounder for our Manufacturing & Treatment Plant facility in Takura, Hervey Bay.
About the role This is not your 'traditional' Office Manager role. You'll have a diverse range of responsibilities including WHS, Payroll, Customer Service, Quality, Process Control and managing day to day running of the office. Reporting to the Business Manager, you'll provide a high level of confidential secretarial and administrative support to office and plant personnel. Activities include:
Accounts Payable, PO processing, assist with PayrollVendor set-up, assist with sales order processing, stocktake & stock movement including journalingReporting requirements & reconciliations for end of monthMaintain supplier accounts, yardsheet processes, freight equalisation & liaise with contractorsMaintain employee & company records, quality management practices, manuals & registers in line with complianceComply with all WHS requirements, activities & initiatives, monitor incidents, tasks & internal auditsAssist BM with submission of monthly site data records ie, fuel consumption, waste generation etcReception, customer service and 'friendly face of the office'Schedule meetings, medicals, staff trainingAssist with staff onboarding and inductions What are we looking for 2yrs+ experience in a similar position (similar industry ideal)Financial acumen/purchasing & stock controlExperience with Cost Centre Accounting & Accounts ManagementUnderstanding of Manufacturing Process Control, Review & Corrective ActionUse of CRM/ERP/Safety/HRIS/Payroll systems idealStrong work safety experience & awarenessCertificate in Business Administration or related discipline, well regardedConfident communicator with all levels of staff & stakeholders, ability to build rapport quicklyQuick learner and ability to take ownership of the positionExperience or understanding of operating within a compliance-heavy industry What's on offer Opportunity to establish a long term career with a local, thriving subsidiary of a global companySupportive team environment in a rapidly growing organisation, with strong valuesDiverse and interesting position that you can make your own Who are we Since its establishment over 50 years ago, Koppers Australia has expanded its product & service range to become a leading diversified manufacturer of quality carbon materials, chemicals & treated wood products across Australasia & the Pacific.
