m3architecture is a national award-winning architecture practice with approximately 30 staff. We are a close-knit team dedicated to creating architecture that is specific to our clients and surprising to those who encounter it.  Our office culture, built around an interest in ideas, plays an essential role in our success. We currently have an engaging and diverse role on offer, that of Office Coordinator.  This role provides the external face of our business, dedicated to presenting us in our best light. The role is key in providing excellent service both behind the scenes and front of house and becomes proactively involved in many other aspects of our creative practice. The right person will not only provide a professional, dedicated, and understated presence for our clients and staff, but will also play an active role in contributing to our office culture.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Undertaking reception tasks, including answering telephone calls and greeting visitors.Preparing morning tea and afternoon tea for the office each day.Overseeing the presentation of the office space.Ensuring office facilities and equipment are well maintained and presentable.Ensuring that systems, databases and registers are kept up-to-date.Managing incoming and outgoing mail.Making travel and meeting arrangements.Organizing office events and setting up IT/AV equipment for meetings.Assisting with presentations, marketing (including social media) and submissions.Supporting project teams.The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, display a high level of attention to detail, be highly organized and efficient, have good IT knowledge and experience, and be proficient in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and social media content creation are advantageous.
As this role is the main contact point of the office, it is vital that the successful candidate brings a professional front-of-house demeanor to the position and has the ability to view the office from a visitor's perspective. A friendly and helpful manner, as well as a positive attitude are essential in this support role.
If you are an experienced Office Coordinator or someone who has excellent customer service / front-of-house skills from experience in the hotel or retail industries who wants to really own this role and who is happy to undertake a range of tasks ranging from the menial to assisting the practice win projects, then you may be the candidate we seek for this role. 
Centrally located, our warehouse studio in Brisbane's inner city is close to public transport, with an end-of-trip facility that encourages active commuting. Many of us cycle or walk to work - we lead by example and are proudly certified carbon neutral by Climate Active.
