If you are a self-starter who can contribute to a great work environment, we would love to hear from you!No two weeks will be the same; admin activities might include organising team social events, tracking office expenses and managing calendars. Over time, you'll gain exposure to technology-led financial modelling and consulting skills.As a student of a STEM degree, you will have an interest in a quantitative field, be willing to take on a variety of administrative tasks and be self-sufficient in finding solutions to meet business needs. You will be comfortable with ambiguity and have the ability to reprioritise tasks as needs arise, while ensuring activities are completed.This is a part time role of around 15 hours per week during office hours, spread over three or four days and can be flexible around a university schedule. As this role involves managing office resources and the work environment, the role holder will be expected to be based at our Melbourne CBD office.Key responsibilitiesIn addition to a range of ad hoc tasks, duties may include:Maintaining the office environment including equipment and stationary inventories and supplyLiaising with facilities management on premisesOffice Health and Safety RepresentativeOrganisation of team socials, and other team, client, conference and corporate eventsTravel bookings for the team (domestic and international) and update of a Travel TrackerDiary and meeting management for the teamAssisting with some aspects of bookkeeping (e.g. entry of employee expenses, bills and invoices)Setting up bank paymentsAssisting with formatting of internal documents and client deliverables (Microsoft Word / PowerPoint)Updating Customer Relationship Management systemNew joiner screening and assisting with the onboarding processSkills and qualificationsIn your second year or later of a university STEM or Commerce degreeBasic accounting knowledge or bookkeeping experience is desirable but not essentialGood capability with Office 365, especially Word and ExcelAbility to be pro-active, anticipating the administrative needs of the businessConfident communicator, with the ability to keep multiple stakeholders up to date with progressAdaptable, flexible and able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneouslyHighly reliable – trusted to follow through on your wordAbility to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive informationQuick learner with a desire to upskillPursues everything with energy and driveGenuinely cares about peopleAvailable and ready to help – a true team playerHow to applyRecruitment is a two-way process, so we'd love to know why this could be the place for you and what you are looking for to advance your career.To progress your application, please send your CV and covering letter to ******.
