SE Plumbing is a locally owned and operated family business, specialising in new residential, commercial, industrial, general plumbing, maintenance, blocked drains, roofing, leaking taps, repairs, and gas fitting. Servicing the Gladstone region for 16 years, our team of qualified plumbers pride themselves on their quality workmanship.
Our business has 2 rare and exciting opportunities for experienced full-time Administrators to join our close-knit team. The office hours are 8am-4:30pm, with the option to work school hours for the right applicant. Staff also have the option to work a 9-day fortnight.
Ideally, you are motivated, friendly, vibrant, willing to learn, and have exceptional attention to detail. You are an excellent communicator and well-articulated. You exercise common sense and have a strong work ethic.
Role 1: Plumbing Administrator Main duties include but are not limited to:
Various accounts payable/receivable tasks including: Preparing and issuing plumbing reports, photos, and invoices Creating and receipting purchase orders Compiling and sending off end of mid & month statements Following up outstanding accounts Assisting with account queries Communicating with property owners/managers Managing the yearly callout roster Some Human Resources tasks as required Assisting the plumbing coordinator to enter and schedule jobs in their absence Requesting entry notices for tenants that are non-contactable Filing, answering phones, and general admin duties Completing and submitting credit applications and QBCC forms Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment Additional duties include but are not limited to:
Confirming delivery times with customers & ensuring dogs are restrained Arranging gas cylinder pickups from SE Plumbing headquarters Coordinating urgent orders with the delivery driver Preparing weekly Elgas invoices Compiling weekly & monthly gas cylinder stocktakes & arranging stock for Gladstone dock Assisting with various general administration as required Monitoring weekly vehicle checklists & booking in vehicle services Scheduling testing and tagging of equipment & calibration of gas detector & backflow devices Ensuring employee licences, courses, medicals, and inductions are up-to-date Updating Workplace Health & Safety documentation as required Filing, answering phones, and general admin duties Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an Administration Officer, as well as:
Australian Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks Knowledge of MS Office Suite Knowledge of Simpro (desired but not essential) Knowledge of Xero accounting program (desired but not essential) Exceptional phone manner Strong work ethic In return, you'll receive:
