A fantastic new opportunity has become available for a multi-skilled, capable Office Administrator to join the team. This is a broad and interesting role, encompassing managing the front desk, broad administration duties, as well as supporting the company's job scheduling function.Responsibilities:Acting as the first point of contact for visitors to the office;Managing a busy switchboard, and screening and directing enquiries as appropriate;Daily office management tasks such as managing meeting rooms, organising staff amenities, maintaining office equipment and stationery;Managing the email inbox;Assisting the Directors and senior staff;Booking travel and accommodation;Managing uniform requests and ordering;Assisting and managing the allocation of phones, vehicles, and electronic devices to staff;Supporting the induction process and coordinating ongoing training for new and existing staff;Assisting with updating policies & procedures;Booking and managing new staff medicals;Assisting and liaising with the Safety Manager;The person we are seeking:Excellent verbal and written communication skills;A strong work ethic with the ability to work unsupervised and under pressure;A high level of computer competency, particularly in the Microsoft Office suite;The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;Willingness to learn;Experience using SIMPRO or XERO would be highly regarded.The ideal candidate will be well presented, with a positive energy, a great attitude to work, and a friendly, engaging communication style, with a track record of performance in a client-focused environment.
