We are currently working with a WA-based Insurance Brokerage who have offices based both in Perth CBD and Kalgoorlie, to assist them in expanding their Kalgoorlie team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to further develop their administration career, and gain valuable training working alongside a knowledgeable Insurance Broker, with the opportunity to eventually progress into a junior broker yourself.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Client meeting preparation, including preparation of renewal programs, inputting data, printing, binding booklets and organising required documents for signingAnswering calls, taking messages, diverting calls and greeting clients/people in the officeOrganising and attending to emails in terms of saving to files and responding to clients where necessaryScanning documents and handling day to day paperworkProcessing invoices, finalising covers and raising invoices (all through instruction of the managing broker)Emailing final invoices to clientsEnsuring all outstanding documents are provided by the client when diarised to follow upFollowing up on outstanding payments from clientsNecessary experience & qualities:Must be confident socially both over the phone and in person, well spoken, professional and well presentedMust have previous experience in an administration or receptionist roleMust be familiar with Microsoft Suites and confident using computersMust be switched on, have strong initiative and attention to detailMust be eager to learn, ambitious and career driven, open to taking on new challenges and development opportunitiesMust be easygoing, friendly, and have a bubbly personality with a positive attitudeSome of the many perks on offer:Extensive training and the opportunity to be mentored by a knowledgeable, experienced Insurance BrokerFlexible working arrangements; this is a full-time position, however, if you require flexible hours such as school hours, for example, we are happy to accommodate thatHybrid working arrangementsCompetitive salary and annual salary reviewsOnce passed probation, the opportunity to obtain necessary broking accreditation (Tier 2 and Tier 1) and progress into a Broker Assistant/ Assistant Account Executive roleIf you are interested and feel you could be a good fit for this role, apply via the ad or contact me via the details below:
