We are currently working with a WA-based Insurance Brokerage who have offices based both in Perth CBD and Kalgoorlie, to assist them in expanding their Kalgoorlie team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for someone looking to further develop their administration career, and gain valuable training working alongside a knowledgeable Insurance Broker, with the opportunity to eventually progress into a junior broker yourself.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Client meeting preparation, including preparation of renewal programs, inputting data, printing, binding booklets and organising required documents for signing Answering calls, taking messages, diverting calls and greeting clients/people in the office Organising and attending to emails in terms of saving to files and responding to clients where necessary Scanning documents and handling day to day paperwork Processing invoices, finalising covers and raising invoices (all through instruction of the managing broker) Emailing final invoices to clients Ensuring all outstanding documents are provided by the client when diarised to follow up Following up on outstanding payments from clients Necessary experience & qualities: Must be confident socially both over the phone and in person, well spoken, professional and well presented Must have previous experience in an administration or receptionist role Must be familiar with Microsoft Suites and confident using computers Must be switched on, have strong initiative and attention to detail Must be eager to learn, ambitious and career driven, open to taking on new challenges and development opportunities Must be easygoing, friendly, and have a bubbly personality with a positive attitude Some of the many perks on offer: Extensive training and the opportunity to be mentored by a knowledgeable, experienced Insurance Broker Flexible working arrangements; this is a full-time position, however, if you require flexible hours such as school hours, for example, we are happy to accommodate that Hybrid working arrangements Competitive salary and annual salary reviews Once passed probation, the opportunity to obtain necessary broking accreditation (Tier 2 and Tier 1) and progress into a Broker Assistant/ Assistant Account Executive role If you are interested and feel you could be a good fit for this role, apply via the ad or contact me via the details below:
