The Role
Thornton Tomasetti has an opportunity for a part-time Office Administrator to join our team at our Melbourne office.
We are looking for someone to work up to 20 hours per week.
The successful candidate will be working with a dynamic team of engineers as office and project support, with projects mainly in the Defence industry.
The position will require someone who is hands-on and well-organized in their work.
A strong communicator, both verbal and written, along with good listening skills.
The ideal candidate will be adaptable, enjoy learning new processes and systems with a can-do approach to all tasks.
Responsibilities Provide general office administrative support for the Melbourne office and when necessary for the Perth office.Project administration: setting up projects and processing project invoices to clients in MS Dynamics.Obtaining quotes and raising purchase orders to vendors and sub-contractors.Ordering supplies for the warehouse and coordinating deliveries.Work as part of the Australian administration team.Requirements Our ideal candidate would need excellent attention to detail, the ability to use their initiative to make decisions, and enjoy multi-tasking with a demonstrated willingness to learn.
Previous experience of working in an engineering consultancy would be advantageous.
The successful applicant needs to be an Australian Citizen and have the ability to achieve and maintain an Australian Government Level 1 security clearance.
