Our Family Farm We are a family-owned business since 1992, where White and Swiss Brown mushrooms are freshly handpicked. We produce around 45 Tonne of mushrooms a week and supply all around Australia, including some of the major supermarkets, such as Woolworths, Drakes, Foodland & Coles. Within our farm we have 80 employees and we work within a multicultural environment. About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate & eager person to join our mushroom farm in Woodcroft as an Office & Administrative Assistant. You will be working closely within an office team of 3 & you will work alongside passionate people who are the heart of everything we do. As we are a family farm, we are looking for an allrounder that can assist us in various roles and responsibilities in the office. We look forward to a person that is proactive & precise in the day-to-day duties. You'll report to the Office Manager and play a key role in our admin support, payroll, finance and reception tasks. As family is important for all of us, we do offer flexibility for family commitments and start & finish times.
Duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to: Assist with HR duties, such as payroll & payroll related tasks, contracts, onboarding of new employees and administrative tasksPerform data entry using Microsoft Office & MYOBFill both manual and computerised records Receive and process invoices General administration assistance within the Finance & Accounting area Customer Sales Answer phone calls & emailsPlan and assist meetings Benefits Salary up to $70,000 (depending on experience & hours agreed) Great flexibility with start and finish timesRegular working hours Monday to Friday between 08.30 – 03.30 pm Casual, friendly and passionate work environment with a warm-hearted team cultureRegular performance & contract review and possibility of going fulltime after 6 months Experience and qualifications Previous work experience in an administrative/office support position Preferable degree or certification in administration and/or similarProven skilfulness in numerical and data entry skills to ensure accurate processing of payroll & financial information to deadlines Proven ability to use the Microsoft Office suiteDemonstrated effectiveness in communication to engage with employees regarding inquiries related to payroll and/or contracts and awards.Proven ability to problem-solve and have strong organisational skills Proactive and willing to develop within our businessFamiliarity with accounting principles and financial reporting How to apply If this role appeals to you & love working in a small team and casual work environment, please click on the apply button and follow the prompts.
