About Us We are a thriving two Partner accounting firm located in Ascot Vale, committed to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional customer service to our clients. We are looking for a full time Administration Officer to join our growing Accounting and Business Advisory team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Partners you will hold end to end responsibility for the office support duties.
Client Billing, Debtor management and Document managementInteract with clients, including scheduling appointments and correspondence both via phone and emailOngoing management of client databaseOn-boarding of new clients, including all required correspondence.Assisting Partners with preparing and processing fee quotes, invoices, engagement letters, ethical letters and Super fund letters/collationsPreparation, co-ordination and processing of ASIC Company Statements for clientsProcessing of all ASIC lodgements, including but not limited to company registrations, company address and name updates, de-registrations and minutesCreating and setting up companies, trusts and entities as well as handling renewals and transfers of business names with ASICMonitor practice Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) & ATO compliance management ensuring deadlines are met.Liaising with Australian Taxation Office, banks, and other government agenciesProviding support to staff and Partners as neededOffice supplies management (paper, stationery etc)Processing bank deposits and reconciliation of EFTPOS paymentsWhat you will bring to the role Previous experience in an administration role in an accounting practice.An ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.The ability to work in a team environment and independently, show initiative and meet deadlines.Able to adapt to change quickly and problem solve.What we Offer: Flexible work arrangements (1-2 days remote).Relaxed and supportive work environment.Convenient office location near public transport.Opportunities to grow and develop your skills.In addition, the following will be highly regarded Xero and Xero Practice Manager experience.BGL CAS360Bookkeeping and BAS preparation experience
