We are looking for a skilled and proactive Office & Accounts Administrator to join our team in Townsville to help us manage the day-to-day administrative operations of our busy dealership. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a background in accounting to thrive in a friendly and supportive environment. Reporting to the Dealer Principal, this is a full-time role working 38 hours week, Monday to Friday.
What you'll be doing Accounts Payable dutiesPreparing and paying creditors on timeEnsuring creditor invoices are posted to the correct GLCompleting creditor credit applicationsAccounts Receivable dutiesProcessing credit applicationsCollecting on accounts that are outside termsEnsuring Company credit guidelines are followedReviewing debtor accounts regularly and notifying the Dealer Principal of undesirable trendsMaintaining accounts and taking action on delinquent accounts as they ariseWriting off uncollectible accounts in conjunction with Group Admin ManagerOverseeing the branch payroll function to ensure employees are paid correctlyFacilitating the administration of WorkCover/injury claimsDaily bank reconciliationsGreeting customers/visitors to the branch and assisting with general queriesAssisting on reception as necessary, operating the switchboard, answering phone callsMaintaining petty cash and doing banking dutiesOrdering stationary supplies and maintaining adequate stockGeneral administration duties including filing, organising meetings and refreshments, booking travel etc.What we're looking for Previous administration and accounts experienceCustomer-focused, team-orientated, self-motivated and enthusiasticExcellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skillsIntermediate computer skillsPrevious experience working in a vehicle dealership is desirableWhy join us?
