Position The Offensive Security Manager will lead and manage our penetration testing team, ensuring the highest standards of security testing and vulnerability assessment.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a professional penetration tester.
This role involves conducting penetration tests, scheduling and managing testing activities, and mentoring junior staff.
Responsibilities: Penetration Testing: Conduct comprehensive penetration tests on client systems, networks, and applications to identify security vulnerabilities.
Test Scheduling and Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee penetration testing activities, ensuring timely and thorough execution.
Team Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior penetration testers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Reporting: Compile detailed reports on findings, provide actionable recommendations for remediation, and communicate results to stakeholders.
Collaboration: Work closely with other security teams and departments to integrate offensive security findings into overall security strategies.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest security trends, tools, and techniques, and incorporate this knowledge into testing practices.
Skills and Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional penetration testing experience.
In-depth knowledge of penetration testing methodologies and tools.
OSCP, GPEN, or other recognised penetration testing qualifications highly desirable.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
Experience managing a team or leading security projects preferred.

Additional Details: Employment Term: Permanent, full-time Location: Role is Canberra Based, but we will consider candidates from interstate if they are willing to move, which Bluerydge may be able to assist with.
