Position SummaryTangentyere Council Aboriginal Corporation (TCAC) is a community controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the Alice Springs Town Camps, urban Alice Springs, and Central Australia.
The finance officer works as part of a team of finance officers that is responsible to the Finance Manager and Chief Finance Officer.
The team of finance officers works together to prepare purchase orders, pay suppliers, book travel, bill clients, handle cash for sitting fees, petty cash, prepaid cards, and process weekly payroll.
The finance officers may be asked to process transactions for Tangentyere Council and any of its related enterprises.
As part of your role, you will be working with children, people with a disability, and people who are vulnerable.
