The positions can be based in either our Townsville office co-located with our wider multi-disciplinary team or Proserpine or Mackay where we have established outreach services in these locations.

You'll get to treat based on clinical need without the barriers that are often present in private practice funding, offering long-term treatment and prevention strategies.Working with a diverse range of clients, you'll set your own schedule and have the chance to see the real difference your work makes as you enable rural communities to live and receive high-quality holistic care.Day-to-day responsibilities will include:Supporting participants' inclusion in the communities and activities they choose;Assessing clients' emotional, cognitive, developmental, and physical capabilities using clinical observations and standardized assessments;Planning and directing programs through the use of vocational, recreational, social, and educational activities on an individual and group basis;Assessing clients' functional potential in their home, leisure, work, and school environments, and recommending environmental adaptations to maximize their performance;Providing advice to family members, carers, employers, and teachers about adapting clients' home, leisure, work, and school environments;Delivering goal-directed early childhood supports;Assisting with community education activities to improve the health of individuals by raising awareness of healthy lifestyles, diseases, and disabilities.To be considered, you must be registered, or eligible to obtain registration with AHPRA and have a passion for providing quality healthcare.
