The Role As an Occupational Therapist at Vivir Healthcare, you are integral to delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy services.
Reporting to our Clinical Excellence Team, you'll collaborate closely with leaders across our network, ensuring top-notch care for clients funded by HCP, CHSP, STRC or NDIS.
Your Duties and Responsibilities Include: Administer OT assessments across diverse caseloadsProvide tailored therapy for NDIS participantsConduct Functional Capacity Assessments and Supported Independent Living assessmentsPerform Assistive Technology Assessments for equipment prescriptionComplete progress notes and documentationDeliver manual handling training and educationConduct sensory assessments and implement sensory integration interventionsWork in school, community, and home environmentsEnhance skills in the NDIS sector with support from experienced leadersFacilitate falls prevention strategiesAssist with minor and complex home modificationsWe're Looking for Someone Who: Has at least 1 year of post-graduation experience in Occupational TherapyIs passionate about enhancing adults' quality of life and achieving their goals.Excels in interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and autonomy.Is flexible, adaptive, and committed to continuous professional development.Preferred experience and skills in NDIS, assistive technology prescription, and home modificationsAbility to work independently while still maintaining engagement within a mobile workforce.Skills and Qualifications: Has Full registration with AHPRAProficiency in Office Suites and intermediate computing skills.Professional indemnity insurance and necessary clearancesNDIS and Child Worker screening clearanceCOVID and Flu Vaccine CertificateAbout Vivir Healthcare: Vivir Healthcare leads Australia in delivering tailored Allied Health solutions across aged care, community, and disability sectors.
