The paediatric team at Tyack Health consists of a close-knit group of like-minded practitioners, including Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, a Dietitian, and an Allied Health Assistant. About the OpportunityTyack Health is seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapists to join the team. Whether you prefer a full-time position, part-time position or the flexibility of an ABN contractor role, we have an opportunity that suits your needs.
This dynamic role offers tailored caseloads designed to meet your professional growth goals and align with your areas of passion. Your role will be predominantly clinic-based, with occasional visits to homes, schools, or local community settings. It is important to note that Senior Occupational Therapists will also have the opportunity to provide supervision and leadership to junior team members.
Your key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments and creating tailored treatment plansImplementing sensory integration strategies to support client developmentCollaborating with families, educators, and fellow team membersLeading school-based programs (two mornings a week)Providing ongoing monitoring and evaluation to ensure positive client outcomesAbout YouThe ideal candidate for this role will be warm, compassionate, and engaging—someone who energises children and colleagues alike. To qualify, the candidate will need:
Experience in paediatricsA tertiary qualification in Occupational TherapyFull registration with AHPRAProfessional Indemnity InsuranceExperience with sensory integration and equipment or studies in sensory integration (highly regarded)An ABN (if contracting)Proven experience working with childrenAdditionally, Tyack Health values:
