About the role
Konekt has an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to deliver workplace injury prevention, return to work or life and disability support solutions that enable individuals and organisations to achieve their potential.
In this role, you will :
Utilise your specialist knowledge and skills to assist people to return to meaningful engagement in occupations Evaluate the treatment and / or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness Support clients with chronic illness, injury or disability to achieve independence and fulfil their goals. Helping clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests Perform activities of daily living assessments and recommending assistive technology under a range of contracts Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This could include functional capacity evaluations, worksite and ergonomic assessments. Complete workplace modifications assessment under the National Panel of Assessors contract (requires minimum two years disability employment experience). Administer standardised assessment tools Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor your client's progress toward their return to work or life goal Engaging with key stakeholders and building strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives What's in it for you at Konekt
