The Company iAgeHealth is an innovative solution developed by Clinicians in Aged Care, who recognised rural communities fail to have adequate access to multidisciplinary clinical care in a timely manner. Our platform has been designed to harness the latest technological advances and tools to improve access to such crucial health services for older Australians living in regional, rural and remote communities.
With diagnostic tools offering live data to clinicians, this role enables you to provide professional care advice from anywhere, at any time. Our Clinicians and Allied Health professionals work on rotating rosters to support a 24/7 service model. Due to the demand of iAgeHealth, our team is expanding and we are welcoming new professionals to be a part of the solution elderly residents need in our rural communities.
About the Role Reporting to the iAgeHealth Manager, you will provide Occupational Therapy (OT) services to people across iAgeHealth's client service delivery footprint who live in a range of aged care settings around Australia. Your clinical intervention will take a holistic approach to pain management, therapeutic services and falls prevention so that the resident/client's can maintain their independence for longer. Your goal to improve a person's quality of life by using a variety of treatments to alleviate pain and restore function or, in the case of permanent injury or disease, to lessen the effects of any dysfunction will be truly rewarding clinical care.
iAgeHealth is a multidisciplinary approach e.g. registered nurses, specialty nurses and allied health team members, you will be connected with Clinicians and Allied Health professionals across Australia to achieve high quality physical interventions which focus on assessment, treatment plan creation and intervention to ensure the best possible outcomes are reached and maintained all through the iAgeHealth telehealth platform.
About You Minimum degree qualification in Occupational Therapy or equivalent Current AHRPA Registration Minimum 3 years' experience in clinical based occupational therapy treatment Demonstrated knowledge of broad client needs, particularly ageing clients Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal High level of autonomy and time management excellence Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and solution focused workstyle Confident computer literacy skills, and ability to learn new systems Affinity to maintaining professional knowledge and skills to provide superior speech pathology services Demonstrated success working within an aged care setting, or supporting elderly clients Previous experience working in a telehealth setting Working knowledge of residential aged care environments What's in it for you: Competitive pay rate + super + employee perks Salary packaging (up to $18,900 net) to increase your take home pay Access to Blue Light Card (Retail Discounts) Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Access to Scholarship Programs & Professional Development McLean Care is passionate about creating an inclusive workplace that promotes the right to feel safe, be valued and heard.
