Acquired Brain Injury Transitional Rehabilitation Service (ABI TRS) are looking for an Occupational Therapist - Senior to join their team. Acquired Brain Injury Transitional Rehabilitation Service (ABI TRS) offers rehabilitation immediately after leaving hospital. The program runs for 10 weeks and helps patients, and their families manage the change from hospital to home. We're based at the Burke Street Centre, Woolloongabba. We also have temporary accommodation for people and their families who usually live outside Brisbane.

About the RoleManage an allocated workload to deliver occupational therapy and clinical case management services, including assessment, intervention and evaluation within an interprofessional team in accordance with established clinical & departmental protocols, policies and procedures, utilising evidence-based practice and ethical standards and under clinical practice supervision or professional guidance of more senior staff.Acts as a clinical reference point with the Acquired Brain Injury Transitional Rehabilitation Service (ABI TRS) team and responds to every-day clinical demands.Collaborate on and undertake the development of evidence-based clinical practices, policies and protocols within Acquired Brain Injury Transitional Rehabilitation Service (ABI TRS).Apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to occupational therapy and clinical case management complex decision making with only occasional clinical/professional supervision.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
