Townsville Hospital and Health Service are seeking applicants for future Occupational Therapist employment opportunities, for both temporary and casual vacancies.

About the opportunity:
Position: Occupational Therapist - Rotational (Clinical Talent Pool)
Vacancy: Fixed term temporary full-time, part-time and casual opportunities available
Location: Occupational Therapy Department / Townsville University Hospital
Occupational Therapists have the opportunity to work in a variety of caseloads including Medical, Surgical, Palliative Care, Oncology, Paediatrics, Rehabilitation, Sub-Acute and Pain Management Service delivering base level of Occupational Therapy clinical services within a specific work unit.
Occupational Therapists work as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
The role is required to provide effective and efficient Occupational Therapy interventions for patients in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Occupational Therapy service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (HHS).

Salary range: $3,030.00 to $4,453.50 p.f.
(HP3) Annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available We're incentivising health workers to move to North Queensland with up to $20,000 (for interstate or international relocation).

Role Requirements:
The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy, and current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
Possession of class C drivers' licence.
This position is required to work on weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis through the Department's Weekend Service.
This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Tuberculosis.
Probation period may apply.
Pre-employment checks will be conducted including Criminal History Clearance.
