Occupational Therapist Residential Care - Maternity Leave CoverCatholic Homes is seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Trinity Village, located in Duncraig. This is a fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, working 15 hours per week.Trinity Village is a smaller residence set in beautifully landscaped gardens located close to the neighbourhood shopping centre, restaurants and conveniences with easy access from Marmion Avenue and Warwick Road.Key responsibilitiesPlan, assess, implement, and evaluate care for individual residents, using tools contained within Telstra Health (icare) System.Complete progress notes in accordance with Catholic Homes Policies and Procedures.Complete Occupational Therapy assessments in collaboration with residents/relatives.Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of all recommended treatments and activities to ensure that they meet residents' needs and are in line with best practice.To be successful in this role you will have/beA Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy).Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).12-months experience working in Aged Care.Familiar with AN-ACC assessment requirements.Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.Positive attitude to change management and new initiatives.A genuine interest in improving the quality of life for our residents.About Catholic HomesCaring for Western Australians for over 50 years, Catholic Homes is a leading not-for-profit comprehensive aged care provider.
