Your New Role

A dynamic occupational therapist with a passion for community-based practice.
Supporting aged and NDIS clients by providing excellence in service.

The role involves providing assessment and therapy services for clients with various diagnoses impacting participation in daily life.
The work will include NDIS participants, TAC (transport accident commission) clients and Aged Care.
There is plenty of variety and the opportunity to build your skills in areas you enjoy.

As an occupational therapist, you will work independently; however, you will be well supported by a team of experienced therapists.

You will work out of the clinic and provide services in the client's home and community.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you want to work in a team environment and easily build rapport with your clients.

You Need To Be Supportive of our inclusive and caring team culture;Tech-savvy (we can support you, but the ability to learn quickly would be good);Confident in clinical practice and clinical decision-making;Keen interest in learning new things and challenging traditional service delivery methods. As well as this, you will have the following: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent tertiary qualifications;Occupational Therapists with, or with the ability to obtain, APHRA registration;Police Check or with the ability to obtain;Queensland Working with Children check or with the ability to obtain;NDIS Worker Screener or with the ability to obtain;Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate: up to date;Queensland Drivers licence or with the ability to obtain;Individual Professional Indemnity Insurance or with the ability to obtain. The Following Special Conditions Apply To This Role Clinical experience with children or adults in a range of models of service provision;Experience in a private practice or disability sector;Able to work independently on routine clinical tasks within the scope of practice for the profession and seek support when needed for more complex and high-risk clinical tasks.
