About the Role:

As an experienced occupational therapist, you will be provided with opportunities to continually develop your skills and knowledge and you will receive extensive professional development and clinical support. You will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team. You will work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to deliver person-centred services to enhance participation and independence, empowering people with a disability to live a full life and achieve their goals. Reporting to the Manager, Consultancy Services you will have key responsibilities in implementing an evidence-based approach in supporting clients. The successful person will need to be able to develop individualised strategies that are responsive to the person's needs and are in line with their goals. The successful person must have a positive attitude and be adaptive and flexible to the changing needs of clients and the business. Successful applicants must have the ability and willingness to travel throughout the Perth Metropolitan region on a regular basis. Job Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have the following: Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the delivery of occupational therapy services within a disability sector context Experience in implementing evidence-based frameworks and delivering holistic supports Demonstrated ability to think critically and problem solve Well developed report writing skills An understanding of working within the NDIS environment Well-developed interpersonal, communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage effectively and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and clients Demonstrated experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviours

You will also be required to provide the following information if successful: Full Australian working rights Current Working with Children Check Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence, own vehicle Current Provide First Aid Certificate or the willingness to obtain these prior to commencing NDIS Worker Orientation Module
