Women's and Children's Health Network, Allied Health and Aboriginal Liaison, Central Early Childhood and Families Service (CECFS) – North Adelaide (5006) Salary - Classification - AHP2 - Allied Health Professional L2 - $88,255 to $102,240 pro rata Multiple Positions - Employment Full time and Part Time – Ongoing About the Opportunity Multiple exciting opportunities exist within the Central Early Childhood and Families Service (CECFS) to join us as an Occupational Therapist (AHP2).
In this role, you will: Provide an occupational therapy service to children aged 0-4 years within a multidisciplinary team that also includes a speech pathology service.
Provide accurate assessment and evaluation of clients with a range of developmental delays by using standardised and informal assessment tools.
Prioritise and organise a large, complex caseload under limited direction.
Interpret assessment results to form an accurate understanding of the issues arising for the child and their family.
Participate in a multi-disciplinary team to plan, identify and address quality client management programs.
Be based in an office location in North Adelaide, and see children at outreach locations: Lockleys Children's Centre, Parks Children's Centre, Woodville CaFHS, Adelaide CaFHS (please note, the CECFS team is only co-located at these sites, and the team is not a part of the CaFHS service or Children's Centre site service).

About You To be successful in this role, you will have: An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
Demonstrated ability to manage a complex and varied workload including individual and group work in the early childhood (0-4 years of age) field.
knowledge of child development principles.
Experience working with the application of attachment theory to therapeutic individual and group programs.
Previous experience working with vulnerable children and their families.
Knowledge of the social determinants of health and their implications for service delivery.
