About the role
This position provides an exciting opportunity for Occupational Therapists (OTs) committed to working in a Community Mental Health Team, particularly those interested in working with older people and their families.
The Bathurst Older Peoples' Mental Health (OPMH) Team includes clinicians from nursing, social work, psychology, OT, and psychiatry backgrounds, with support from dietetics and other allied health disciplines.
The Team prides itself on working collaboratively and maintaining an excellent workplace culture of support and flexibility, while ensuring a high level of clinical care is provided.
As the successful applicant, you will work closely with the Team Leader, the Clinical Leader, and the wider team. You will also be linked with a clinical supervisor and professional mentor.
You will engage in robust clinical and operational orientation to the role, including the development and implementation of an individualised professional development pathway. This plan will include the core skills required to undertake the role and your own developmental interests in OPMH.
