We are looking for a Occupational Therapist to join us and work with our team of 16 allied health clinicians (6 OT's) who are passionate about enabling the Newcastle and Central Coast Communities. The role will suit a high-performing and motivated Occupational Therapist who is looking for an opportunity to progress their career.

Are true team players with demonstrated collaborative abilities.We have opportunities for a Senior clinician with more then 5 years experience and a recently graduated Therapist. To be considered for a Senior Position candidates must have have more then 5 years clinical experience, with at least two working in the NDIS space. Ideally, you have a special area of interest or wanting to expand your clinical expertise within a Occupational Therapy clinical field including – neurological conditions, lymphedema, seating prescription, complex home modifications, gerontology or mental health. We can support you with paid externally mentoring to develop your area of interest. The Role The hours required for this role are completely negotiable - anywhere from 20 hours to 37.5 hours a week is fine for the right applicant (although our ideal applicant is wanting fulltime or close to fulltime employment)
? You will manage a Community caseload, providing home visits across the Newcastle and Lake Macquarie region.
? You will care for a mix of older adults and people with disabilities and provide patient centred care to assist your clients to live independently in their own home.
? Your role will see you prescribe assistive technology, equipment, complete home modifications and provide rehabilitation programs.
? Appointment lengths will be customised to your needs (both initial and follow up consultations) and level of experience
? Senior OT's will support recently graduated OT's through formal and informal mentoring.
? Your level of experience will determine your salary package, annual salary will range for a senior is $90,000 to $130,000 and recently graduated $80,000 to $95,000 pro rata including your base salary plus all bonuses and entitlements (based on your qualifications)
? You will have access to a PD budget, internal formal and informal 1:1 clinic mentoring, world class external paid mentors the clinic engages.
? Our Senior OT has 12 years of clinical experience and our external clinical mentor is a highly skilled 25 year experienced Occupational Therapist.
? We have a highly skilled admin team to assist you at all levels of your role.
