About the Role: We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
In this role, you will collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver person-centered services aimed at enhancing participation, independence, and empowering individuals with disabilities to live full, goal-driven lives.
With additional opportunities to be part of our remote clinical team, delivering Occupational Therapy services across remote communities in the Top End and Central Australia.
Key Responsibilities:   Deliver contemporary, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services, including assessments, individualized treatment planning, and evaluations, for clients presenting with diverse conditions and syndromes, in a culturally diverse environment.
Provide independent, specialist clinical input into treatment planning, development, and service delivery.
Collaborate with families and caregivers to assess, plan, implement, and review targeted, meaningful developmental therapy programs.
Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of individual and group therapy programs within Carpentaria Therapy Service areas.
About You: This role is open to candidates seeking full-time or part-time employment.
We are looking for a professional with experience in delivering Occupational Therapy services within the disability sector, capable of developing individualised strategies and clinical management plans tailored to each person's needs and aligned with their goals.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, demonstrate adaptability, and be flexible in meeting the evolving needs of clients, the NDIS, and the organization.
You will build upon clients' strengths and work collaboratively with families, carers, teachers, and colleagues to address challenges that may arise.
Additionally, you will demonstrate the following: A tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration Experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviors Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills Proven experience in implementing evidence-based frameworks and delivering holistic support services An understanding of working within the NDIS framework You must also hold, or have the ability to obtain, a current Ochre Card, Criminal History Check, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance, First Aid Certificate, evidence of Australian work rights, and an NT Driver's Licence.
