The Role
Administering assessments, interventions, and advocacy for a full caseload of children within the family context.
Report writing and goal setting within NDIS protocols and private sector.
Working in community, school, and clinic-based settings including school screenings.
Working with a range of disabilities, ages, and conditions.
Collaboration with the team around the child, including working within the team of OTs in the practice, Education, and other Professionals.
Running presentations for Teachers, Professionals, Parents, and Peers.
Working collaboratively with families to assess needs and develop tailored intervention plans, assisting them in implementing strategies and accessing resources.
Utilising a coaching approach with families.
Collaborating with members of the team, comprising of Early Childhood Education Specialists, Dietitians, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, and Allied Health Assistants to support your individual consumer caseload.
Requirements
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy Board.
Current Driver's Licence.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $120,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
