870.About the roleWe are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a maternity replacement to support educational goals facilitating students' participation through improving students' functional capacity and providing developmental opportunities to students with a disability.About youSpecifically, your key responsibilities will include:Development and provision of Occupational Therapy servicesGroup, small group or individual service delivery through a consultative model which promotes social interaction and maximum inclusion and transfer of skills and knowledgeImplementation of relevant informal and standardized assessments of skills as required for students with a wide range of disabilities and impairmentsDevelopment and implementation of programs, strategies and materials to enable students to access goals set as part of Individual Learning Plans together with daily living skillsProvision of consultation, education services, resources, strategies, advice and support for families and members of the college trans-disciplinary team in the areas of student access to programs and daily living skillsQualifications:Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalentDesirable:Some experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.If you meet the above criteria and are passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives, we would love to hear from you.
