Where You'll Be Working: In this position, you will deliver services across both the acute and rehabilitation programs at Cumberland Hospital.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to conduct assessments and provide interventions based on a recovery model, supporting consumers in reaching their highest level of functioning.
Additionally, you will develop and facilitate group activities and programs aimed at helping consumers improve their independence in daily tasks.
Our department comprises of dedicated Occupational Therapists, Diversional Therapists, Art Therapists, and Exercise Physiologists.

Essential Criteria Qualification: Relevant Qualifications in Occupational Therapy Registration: Registered with AHPRA Selection Criteria: Demonstrated skills and relevant clinical experience in providing comprehensive Occupational Therapy assessment of clients with mental health issues.
Demonstrated skills in the provision of therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practice for clients with mental health and psychosocial needs.
High level, effective communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written.
Proven ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team and prioritise a busy caseload.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education and quality improvement.
Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
