We are very excited to be recruiting to our Wonderful Occupational Therapist Team across the Hastings Macleay Clinical Network (including Port Macquarie Base Hospital, Kempsey District Hospital, Wauchope District Memorial Hospital & Port Macquarie Community Health). This opportunity is for casual employment, however, we have a number of upcoming expected vacancies across the network in the coming months, that eligibility may support recruitment to further temporary employment at part time or full time status in our team. We also encourage new graduate and early career therapists to make application. What you'll be doing
Provide appropriate occupational therapy services for inpatients, outpatients and community clients as referred in a manner consistent with professional code of ethics and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
This is a Category A position. Recommended applicants will be reviewed for compliance with NSW Health policy directive for Category A positions prior to offer.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s. These awards are available at NSW Health Awards.
A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS.
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualifications recognised for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
Demonstrated ability to plan and implement occupational therapy intervention and discharge planning services for adults using professional judgement and evidence based practice
Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills fostering positive rapport with clients and colleagues
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously; as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and in collaboration with community support services
Ability to plan and co-ordinate clinical, administrative and continuing professional development roles; prioritise duties; organise work plan for self and delegate suitable tasks to a therapy aide
Current driver's licence valid to drive in NSW
