Help us make a difference to improve their quality of life.Job DescriptionAs a growing company, we are continuing to add more clinicians to our multidisciplinary team providing supports to NDIS participants living in the south west Sydney region and are looking to expand our team into a new clinic based in Prestons.We would welcome an early career Occupational Therapist looking to make a meaningful and rewarding impact in their local community.We empower participants by:Using a strengths-based approach to guide our assessment, goals and ultimately our interventionUsing a combination of standardised and non-standardised assessments, curated to the participants' needs to guide our clinical reasoningExploring and navigating complex cases, engaging in 1:1 supervision as well as team and national based in-services are just some of the ways you can expect to be supportedResponsibilities will include:Managing an allocated caseload and completing therapeutic services in a timely mannerAssessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessmentsInterpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participantProviding therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based and help participants get more out of lifeProviding support and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilitiesRecommending provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and to promote independenceWhat's in it for you?Benefits - annual Professional Development allowance, staff referral scheme, Fitness Passport, salary packaging options... just to name a fewFlexibility – Permanent full-time or part-time role.
