This includes:Conducting functional assessments and delivering evidence-based therapies to support physical and psychosocial development.Developing person-centred goals with children and their families, enhancing life skills and promoting independence.Collaborating with schools, parents, and other support agencies to foster a holistic approach to care.Key Responsibilities:Provide tailored therapy and assessments for children with a range of needs, including physical, developmental, and environmental.Recommend assistive technologies, environmental modifications, and strategies for enhancing participation.Deliver trauma-informed, compassionate care to all clients, ensuring their cultural needs are respected and integrated into their treatment plans.Maintain ongoing communication with families and educators to support the child's developmental goals.What You Bring:Experience working with paediatric caseloads and children from diverse communities.Empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a trauma-informed approach.Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to write comprehensive reports.Excellent time management, organisation, and communication skills.Ability to work independently while being part of a collaborative team.Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational TherapyCurrent AHPRA RegistrationAbility to pass a National Police Check and Working with Children's CheckWhat We Offer:Not-for-profit salary packaging available to increase your take-home payOpportunities for professional developmentApply Today!If you're ready to bring your skills and passion to a role that makes a tangible difference in the lives of Aboriginal children and their families, we want to hear from you.#J-18808-Ljbffr
