Step 2 Allied Health is a registered provider located in South West Victoria who strives to provide quality services and support to our NDIS, HCP and private clients. Currently, the Step 2 Allied Health team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Counselling, Therapy Assistants, and Support Workers. Step 2 Allied Health supports a variety of individuals across the lifespan.
Step 2 Allied Health opened the Warrnambool office in April 2024. We currently have a team of OT's who service the local area with a dedicated administrative team to support our therapists and participants. Our Geelong-based allied health team provides an outreach service to the local Warrnambool area.
Tasks & Responsibilities Support our participants to achieve their goals by providing evidence-based assessment and intervention. Assess and implement appropriate skill development plans for individuals looking to develop independence in the home and community. Develop, implement, and regularly review Therapy Assistant programs. Prescription, ordering, and set up of required equipment. High-quality report writing and documentation skills, in line with AHPRA registration standards; report writing support will be provided. Engage in multi-disciplinary care team meetings to support participants. Attend regular internal supervision, professional development, and team meetings. Minimum Requirements Registered with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent). Satisfactory Working With Children's Check (Employee). Current Driver's Licence. Satisfactory National Police Check for Employment in Disability.
