About theRole
We are seeking a qualified Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team, where you will contribute to creating a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere for paediatric clients and their families. Your responsibilities in this position will involve conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, administering therapeutic interventions, and producing detailed reports for children who have been referred to our services. These services will be delivered in various settings, including homes, clinics, and communities.To ensure the best outcomes for our paediatric clients, you will routinely review their progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
Effective collaboration and communication with parents/caregivers, teachers, doctors, and other healthcare professionals are crucial aspects of this role. Additionally, you will serve as a mentor for junior therapists by offering guidance and support in clinical practice. Your strong professionalism and dedication to your work are essential qualities we seek in our candidates.

About You We like tokeep an open mind when it comes to bringing therapists on board! With that beingsaid, there are a few requirements for our therapists which are:
Tertiary qualifications in OccupationalTherapy
At least 3 years' experience working as anOccupational Therapist within a paediatric setting in the private orpublic sector
NDIS Experience preferred
AHPRA Registration
NDISWC / WWCC (or willingness to apply)
Ability to provide evidence of COVID-19vaccinations based on State Government requirements (or applicableexemption)
