About the roleAssist Paediatric Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Wangaratta, Victoria.
This part-time or full time role is an exciting opportunity support children in our community and their families and caregivers to achieve goals.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality occupational therapy services, focused on enhancing the lives of our young clients and their families.
What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and goals of each child
Develop and implement tailored therapy plans to support the physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development of clients
Collaborate with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client care
Provide hands-on therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based techniques and innovative strategies.
Continuously monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
Maintain detailed client records and documentation in line with professional standards.
Co-ordinate and participate in team meetings and contribute to the ongoing development of our paediatric therapy services.
What we're looking for

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, with current registration as an Occupational Therapist
New graduate or experienced therapists may apply for this role.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Proficient in assessment, goal-setting, and the development of comprehensive therapy plans
Passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children with diverse needs
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively
