Mandatory requirements The Occupational Therapist exists to deliver high-quality service in the areas of occupational assessment and interventions at Shrink & Co. Shrink & Co. is a specialised mental health disability provider, specialising in psychology, psychiatry, behaviour support and mental health occupational therapy assessments. Based in Gold Coast QLD and Tweed Heads NSW we have 2 active locations with a growing client base across both Southeast Queensland and Northern NSW.

The Occupational Therapist is an integral part of our Behaviour Insights Team (BIT) which is an interdisciplinary team tasked with managing clients with neurodiversity and intellectual disability. Instead of being a solo practitioner looking after a caseload, our Behaviour Insight Team is deployed as a team for each client that is involved.
Our Behavioural Insights Team (BIT) consists of experts with the skills matrix across both Education and Health Sciences spaces. The BIT exists within Shrink & Co.'s ecosystem of supports to ensure clients in need of behavioural based supports gain access to an entire team with the understanding that it takes multiple people with multiple skills to solve complex behavioural issues. The Occupational Therapist operates within the BIT under the BIT Discipline Lead and will deliver services collaboratively with the Lead Practitioner, or as a Lead Practitioner alongside the rest of the BIT.
This position would suit an Occupational Therapist with a strong interest in neurodevelopmental conditions such as ASD, ADHD and ID. Ongoing training and professional development is provided alongside multidisciplinary supervisions and team-based approach. Ability to complete sensory profile assessments and develop and deliver a sensory diet is essential. Knowledge and delivery of SOS feeding interventions also desirable.
