Your New Role: Assessments, early interventions and ongoing treatment for infants, pre-school and school aged children who are at risk of developing or who already demonstrate developmental delays and difficulties in engaging in typical childhood occupations; A predominantly paediatric caseload; Based at the clinic and when required or deemed more appropriate at clients' homes, schools, kindergartens and child care centres; As an occupational therapist, you will be valued in providing clinical consultation, assessment and advice to our clients, their families and other members of the client's team; You will provide an occupational therapist lens in guiding the care team to form therapy plans and interventions; May perform home assessments and assessments in the community. Your Profile:
To succeed in this role, you want to work in a team environment and easily build rapport with your clients. As well as this, you will have the following:
Degree in Occupational Therapy; Occupational Therapists with the ability to obtain AHPRA registration. Sponsorship opportunities available; Experience providing Occupational Therapy to a paediatric population; Demonstrated experience in building and managing effective working relationships and networks; High level of communication skills, both written and verbal, including skills in report writing; Ability to represent the culture and values of the business and represent these to our customers; Understanding of and ability to work within the small business environment; Demonstrated ability to take the initiative and a proactive approach to the development and improvement of services; Demonstrated ability to maintain professional competence and integrate new teachings and techniques into practice and service delivery; Including:

Hours may be varied according to service demands in consultation with the staff member; Use of own vehicle and mobile phone will be required; Have a current WWC or willingness to obtain; Have a current WA driver's license or the ability to obtain one; National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain; Training in CPR, undertaken within the past three years; Obtain a WA Department of Education Screening.
