Developing individual resources for the person and identifying useful strategies;
Providing training for parents, carers and / or support workers;
Attending Care Team Meetings and providing Occupational Therapy specific input.

Our Occupational Therapists have a variety of assessments tools available, e.g. Child and Adult / Adolescent Sensory Profile, WHODAS 2.0, Vineland-3, CEFI, PEDI-CAT, BOT-2, BRIE-2, HoNOS, LSP-16, DACSA, MSE, Interest Checklist, Role Checklist, etc.
The position is suitable for experienced practitioners as well as recent graduates as we aim to tailor a caseload, supervision and training to our practitioners' specific needs.
While our office base and primary work is in Darwin, we also offer a range of opportunities to work regionally (e.g. Katherine, Alice Springs) and within remote Indigenous communities eg. Maningrida, Gunbalanya. There is an option to work from home for administration / report writing.
The Northern Territory is an exciting mix of tropical and desert landscapes, with world leading national parks and diverse wildlife. Joining our NT team presents an opportunity to experience parts of Australia that many people never see, whilst at the same time, doing work that is impactful and interesting.
