Occupational Therapist

Heartland OT is a small family-owned business located in Charters Towers, North Queensland. We provide quality Occupational Therapy Assessments, interventions, and reports for children aged 3 - 18 years, primarily focusing on NDIS ASD and caseload. The role includes clinic-based appointments and some school visits, utilizing strengths-based play-focused therapies.
Opportunities to further develop and establish our Paediatric caseload, build partnerships within the community, and expand our reach to include Pentland and Hughenden will be the short to medium-term goals of this role.
This is a 12-month contract with a view to offer a permanent role at the end of the period to a suitable applicant. A minimum of 12 months experience in Paediatrics is highly desirable, or a minimum of 12 months post-graduate experience in OT is essential.
