About the Role: Conducting functional capacity assessments for NDIS applications and plan reviews. Conducting face to face home based therapy. Provide neuro-affirming capacity building therapy. Offering various assessments and interpretations, including Functional Capacity Assessments (FCAs), Sensory Profiling (SPMs), and Supported independent living assessments (SILs) – previous experience is advantageous. Collaborating with key stakeholders and fellow allied health professionals involved in your participants care. Primarily working within a neurodiverse caseload, catering to individuals with conditions such as Autism, Intellectual Disability. Skills and Experience: Relevant Masters or Bachelors degree. AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist. An understanding of the NDIS and requirements of reports for same. Working with Children's Check and Police Check. Experience working with a neurodiverse/mental health caseload or a strong willingness to work with this demographic. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a Multidisciplinary Team. Must have your ABN (we can assist with ABN application) and professional indemnity insurance for a Contractor engagement (Only applicable for Contractor Role). Strong organizational and planning capabilities and skills. Preferably experienced with a range of OT assessment tools (e.g. SP2) and a good understanding of their appropriateness for different client diagnoses and interpretations of measures.
