WHAT YOU WILL DO: As our Occupational Therapist, you will:
Hold the relevant qualifications, AHPRA registration, and have a passion for working with children and young people with Language Disorders and co-occurring challenges. Provide tailored, evidence-based interventions that support students' academic, social, and emotional needs. Conduct assessments and develop therapy plans to improve students' skills in areas such as fine and gross motor control, sensory processing, self-care, and social interactions in line with the Multi-Tiered Systems of Support model. Work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and broader learning objectives. Advocate for student wellbeing and development, promoting a nurturing and inclusive environment. Engage actively with parents and caregivers to create a supportive network around each student, enhancing outcomes. Commit to continuous professional growth, staying informed of best practices and advances in paediatric occupational therapy. BENEFITS: What can we give you in return for your passion:
