We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist to provide occupational therapy services to our community, including the opportunity to work within the paediatric program. Commencement January 2025.

East Grampians Health Service aims to meet the needs of the community by offering a vast array of services based at the community health centre in Ararat. We also offer outreach services to Willaura, Lake Bolac and Elmhurst. Our services include dental, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, podiatry, speech pathology, dietetics, diabetes education, and social work. These services support other clinical areas including our acute and residential aged care patients. Our community health centre also hosts specialty clinics such as consulting suites for our visiting surgeons and maternal child and health.
What we OfferAbout the RoleThe occupational therapy department consists of 3 Occupational Therapists and access to AHA support. This position would suit either an Occupational Therapist experienced in working with community/paediatric clients or a new graduate. If a new graduate was successful, they would be provided with external supports and professional development opportunities to enable them to fulfill this work.
There are opportunities for additional training that will be tailored to your needs and preferences. Options may include specific professional development, multidisciplinary training, attendance at professional conferences, and clinical supervision. Access to quality improvement and research opportunities are also provided.
