Located in the spectacular coastal town of Albany, you will have the opportunity to work both in clinic and across various community settings in the Great Southern region.
Delivering services in our fantastic clinic space, at client's homes, schools and via telehealth, you will be supported by a dedicated administration team, freeing your time for you to do what you love and do best! Our clinic offers a varied caseload, with a strong focus on supporting individuals across the lifespan.
This position is well supported, with opportunities for collaboration, support and clinical development offered through connections with our occupational therapists, speech pathologists, physiotherapists and positive behaviour support practitioners.
This role offers flexibility with full-time or part-time hours available and will provide you with an opportunity to take your career to the next level with plenty of professional development opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities: Provide evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric, adolescent and adult caseload – providing direct, family-based and community-based support to individuals with developmental delays and/or disabilities. Day to day in the role will include assessment and intervention sessions with a mixed caseload in terms of both age and modality of intervention. Work collaboratively within a transdisciplinary team environment to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes. What do you need to join? Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy. A passion for working with individuals who have disabilities to help each client to achieve their own goals, potential and participate in their community in a way that is meaningful for them. Exceptional communication skills that enable you to work in a culturally rich and diverse environment and collaborate effectively in a transdisciplinary team environment. Effective time management and attention to detail.
