We are dedicated to innovative, holistic family-centred care. The Children's Ward is a vibrant, 28-bed general paediatric unit caring for infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.About the RoleThe successful applicant will provide high quality, evidence-based, flexible and responsive occupational therapy services for inpatients (age 0-18) including but not limited to those with eating disorders, neurodiversity, mental health diagnoses, and complex disabilities. The role provides opportunities for teaching, supervision, support, and development of less experienced staff and undergraduate students. The role also includes a 1:4 weekend shift requirement, creating opportunities for the successful applicant to broaden their clinical assessment and discharge planning skills across a varied acute clinical caseload.About the cultureChildren's services within the Paediatrics ward is a busy workplace and our staff are positive, inclusive, and promote a strong culture of support for all.
