Occupational Therapist | Exceptional Support & Mixed Ages Caseload This outstanding NSW based not-for-profit organisation plays a vital role offering essential support to children and young adults with physical disabilities, neuromuscular conditions, developmental delays, and neurodiverse conditions.
They are seeking a passionate and client-focused New Graduate Occupational Therapist to join their team in Wollongong!
Part-time and full-time roles available!
New Graduate Support: Weekly 1:1 Supervision Workshadowing Opportunities Peer Mentoring 12 Week Learning Program - covers NDIS reporting & assessments etc. Gradual increase of caseload over 6 months $1000 Professional Development Allowance & 10 Days PD Leave Multidisciplinary Learning The Benefits: Competitive Salary: $76,000 - $90,000 + Super + Benefits Salary Packaging: Earn up to $15900 (tax free) - meaning more take home pay for you! Access to Fitness Passport: discounts on health insurance + more Tools of the trade: Mobile phone, laptop and iPad provided 12 Week Structured New Graduate Program: Evidence-based, tailored New Graduate learning program covering topics tailored to you Manageable KPI's: gradually increase your caseload to 22.8 hours over 6 months Work Flexibility: Option to work a 9 day fortnight & choose your start and finish times External PD Allowance: $1000 + 10 days paid PD leave Weekly 1:1 Supervision: with a Senior Occupational Therapist with 6+ Years Experience Fortnightly peer meetings: meet with other OT's within your team to receive extra clinical support Weekly scheduled team meetings: case discussions and project work On-site parking Flexible and family-friendly organisation Administration team: for scheduling and billing The Role: You will support clients ages 2-18 presenting with a diverse range of physical and neurodiverse conditions, in clinic and community settings.
Responsibilities include conducting 1:1 assessments, prescribing evidence based interventions, and facilitating 1:1 and group therapy sessions. You'll also learn how to write NDIS reports and recommendations, with the help of the Senior leadership team of course!
