Your exciting new role: Choose hours and days that suit you – part time or school hours (minimum 3 days) or full time Visit clients in the local Albany community Perform assessments in clients' homes and workplaces with respect to physical, sensory, cognitive and psychological functional needs Plan, implement and evaluate person centred care plans and intervention programs in line with client's goals Prescribe equipment and recommend modifications including the use of assisted technology Create holistic care plans, write detailed progress notes and seek and apply for funding Provide advice, education and training to clients and their families Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team and external agencies to ensure holistic care Support, train and supervise OTAs, OT students and volunteers What makes this great: Work / life balance and flexibility - option to work full time or part time or school hours Sponsorship can be provided for the right candidate Transfer your skills from another sector into the booming disability industry Receive support from Senior Occupational Therapists and be provided with professional and personal development opportunities $46 - $50 an hour + super + salary packaging + leave loading + relocation assistance About you: Bachelor of Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist Able to conduct thorough assessments, create care plans, prescribe equipment and recommend home modifications Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with clients and families Vibrant, adaptable and have a passion for working with people with neurological conditions Knowledge of NDIS and other funding models is ideal but not essential What next:
