We have offices located across QLD and in Perth, WA. As part of our team of highly motivated Allied Health professionals, you will work closely with people with spinal cord damage and other physical disabilities to help them achieve their goals and live the life they want to lead.
The position is open to candidates looking for either part-time or full-time work based out of our Bundaberg office. In this dynamic role, you can make a meaningful contribution to your customer's lives by:
Trialling and prescribing equipment and assistive technology including manual and power wheelchairs, pressure reduction cushions, hoists and slings, shower chairs, and continence and daily living aidsWriting reports for funding bodies to support the purchase of equipment and assistive technology to meet customers' needsDaily visits to support your customers in the communityContributing to strategic planning to improve and expand our servicesCompleting Functional Capacity Assessments, applications for Complex Home Modifications, as well as Supported Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation assessments.Managing your caseload to deliver the best outcomes for our customersSuccessful applicants will need: Current AHPRA registrationExperience in working with people with spinal cord damage or other physical disabilities would be an advantage, but not essentialHigh level of organisational skills to manage and coordinate caseloadsHigh level of interpersonal and communication skillsExperience in delivering the best possible solutions for your customersExperience working in a fee-for-service environment is highly desirableEither have a current or be able to apply for a NDIS workers screening + Blue cardProof of Covid 19 Vaccination certificateOur benefits to support you: Competitive remuneration and salary packagingFlexible options to support your work-life balance, including accrued days offHealth and wellbeing programsSend us your resumé and a cover letter, telling us why you would be perfect for the role.
