An exciting opportunity is currently available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the Occupational Therapy Team at the Bundaberg Hospital within the Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service. The Wide Bay area is arguably one of the most beautiful regions of Queensland. The Health Service stretches from Agnes Water in the North to Maryborough in the South and provides acute care services to a population of over 225,000 residents including several rural communities.

Eligible Applicants who move to Queensland from an interstate or international jurisdiction to take up permanent or temporary greater than 12 months employment may receive up to $20,000 incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Scheme Your opportunity: Deliver effective generalist occupational therapy clinical services to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health within the Wide Bay Health Service to:maximise client function in activities of daily living,maximise functional recoverysupport timely client discharge from the Bundaberg Hospital andsupport clients' abilities to stay in their own home.This position rotates through a variety of caseloads within Bundaberg Hospital including medical, surgical and rehabilitation wards as well as outpatient clinics such as hands, scar and vascular.Prior to being made an offer of employment, you will be required to demonstrate immunity to the following Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD): Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (chicken pox) and Pertussis (whooping cough).

Our offer: You will receive a competitive remuneration package value up to $128,706 p.a., comprising salary rates $76,747 - $112,805 p.a., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP3) (Permanent Full Time, 76 hours p.f.)
